2020 Southwest Hairstyling Awards

Who will win in 2020? In addition to their competitive categories - the Southwest Hairstyling Awards is delighted to recognize the accomplishments of these hair industry luminaries.

CATEGORIES

All categories consist of a collection of three images. They encourage you to try something different - models of any age - sex and race are enthusiastically allowed. Retouching is necessary -but- remember the hair must be done by YOU not the computer -the judges will be able to tell! Wigs and Hairpieces are embraced as well but please note if you use materials that are obviously not hair or synthetic hair - any look that is essentially a headpiece or hat -not a hairstyle- your entry will be disqualified.

SOUTHWEST HAIRSTYLIST OF THE YEAR

Dazzle them with a collection that shows your range and versatility in cutting, styling, editorial or outré hair (or even a combination of it all) ANYTHING goes!

HAIRCOLOR

Are your color skills amazing? Prove it! -From classic to over the top - be yourself - show off and express the very best of what you can do.

NOTE difficulty, taste and execution are key on this one! Be ambitious!

NOTE- NO synthetic hair of any kind is allowed in this category. Human hair wigs hairpieces and extensions ARE allowed.

AVANT GARDE

Let your imagination take over and devise your most astonishing designs. Do something arresting, dynamic, innovative - and most importantly something they have never seen before!

Licensed hairstylists from the following states are invited to enter: California, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Texas
