What one word describes how you felt when you hit submit on your entry?
Exhaling
How does competing help you as an artist?
It’s really competing with myself to top the work that i have produced previously. It’s an opportunity for me to challenge myself and push myself outside of my comfort zone. NAHA is a great opportunity for this.
Beyond hair, what other creative outlets do you have?
I use to ride show horses which is creative in it’s own way. My passion now and a way of finding inspiration and creativity is traveling. I love immersing myself in other cultures and exploring new places.

If you weren’t doing this, what would you be doing?
Probably still riding show horses and possibly competing.
What’s your biggest fear in life or your career?
If i didn’t inspire others.
Real life advice to someone entering the world of cosmetology
Never ever ever give up on your dream and passion! Pursue it vehemently. There are so many different avenues that cosmetology can take you down. Be open to what the industry has to offer.
