Amy Freudenberg
We met Amy Freudenberg years ago at an updo styling class with Lanza Healing Haircare. We love her commitment to education and giving back.
Since its humble beginnings in 1989, NAHA finalists and industry elite have brought this iconic photographic beauty competition to new heights year after year. NAHA continues to recognize the beauty industry’s most talented artists and advance the careers of stylists around the world. Nothing makes us happier than meeting artists we REALLY want to root for… Good people who love the industry, value education and aren’t afraid to put in the hard work
What one word describes how you felt when you hit submit on your entry?
Accomplished
What advice would you give to someone wanting to enter competitions?
Remember it’s a opportunity, a opportunity to grow, to push yourself so take it, don’t let a wonderful opportunity like that slip away!
How does competing help you as an artist?
It’s made me realize things I can do that I never thought possible!
Biggest worry about the night? Is it what to wear or acceptance speech?
If I win defiantly speaking in front of so many people!
If you weren’t doing this, what would you be doing?
I worked as a waitress before, during and some after doing hair, I probably would still be doing that if I hadn’t started doing hair, I am blessed to have had the opportunity to do something else and be a part of a amazing industry
