How does competing help you as an artist?
Competing helps me as a artist because I’m able to think way out side the box. Creatively it opens my mind, and allows me to work with out boundaries. Behind the chair can sometimes be very structural and repetitive, where a competition allows me to spread my wings.
Beyond hair, what other creative outlets do you have?
Beyond hair, my other creative outlets are mixing music with graphic design. I have a very different sense of music than most, so I love to take what i hear and turn it into visuals. Its a different way to express myself and it relaxes me.

My biggest to fear in my career is to stop learning or fall into a long time funk. I constantly need stimulation in my work, learning and classes help me stay on my game.
