You have a huge following on Hairbrained.me . Stylists seek you out to help solve all their color problems. How does this kind of attention/responsibility make you feel?
I feel honored that I would be considered as a "go to colorist" to help out our network. I also have to say that I get a lot of satisfaction from helping the colorists.
When I first started in my career I did not have the financial ability to attend classes that I needed to build confidence in what I was doing. I want to make sure these new stylists can get as much as they can and gain confidence & keep growing.

Which classes/ techniques have blown your mind ?
Ricardo Denis' foundational hair cutting class and Gerard Scarpaci's razor cutting class. I love cutting hair. It helps me understand placing color.
If someone could only afford to take 1 class this year, which would you suggest?
Out of the courses I teach; it would have to be Hair Color Magic Formulation. It is the foundation of all other courses I teach.
It is a creative fun class that makes formulating predictable!
For young stylists looking for a roadmap to working with a product company, what would you advice be?
I suggest contacting the head of education and ask what their training program is to help them get to the path of a trainer. It takes time to be trained properly.
Also, taking public speaking courses will help on presentation skills. Then a format course will help understand learners. Webinar courses can be taken through INYUtraining.com It is something I revisit every year to keep my training skills sharpened.
How do you use your talents to make a difference?
I hope I am making a difference now with sharing information. With inspiring our network to become the best at what they do. I love seeing these stylists "get it"... Get inspired and excited about what they do.
