The Cosmoprof Fashion Frenzy Finalists will be traveling to the 2014 Intercoiffure Fall Atelier at the Waldorf Astoria in New York City on October 19th and 20th where they will compete LIVE for the Grand Prize. Working directly with mentor Luis Alvarez of Aquage®, they will also participate in a photo session with NAHA award-winning photographer BABAK.

What inspired you to enter the beauty industry?
I’ve had a passion for beauty ever sense I sat in a salon chair and received my first highlight at 12 years old. I was so fascinated with everything and I just knew from that moment on I wanted to make people feel beautiful and become a hairstylist.

Competing in hair competitions is important in the industry because it helps you grow as a stylist, express your creativity and get yourself out there!
I would trade my best friend before I would live without this product…
I would trade my best friend for Spray Wax! It is the best product for styling short hair, men’s hair and updo’s!
In five years, my dream is to be…
In 5 years, I plan to be well established in my career as a stylist and have a chair in a well-known Nashville,TN salon.
Who are you most inspired by and why?
Avant Garde is what inspires the most in the beauty industry. I’m drawn to the outside of the norm artistic creations of hairstyling and coloring. It’s so inspirational to see the passion that goes into the work.
What was your reaction to finding out you were in the final 6?
When I found out I made it to the final 6, I was ecstatic and in shock, I couldn’t believe that I actually made it!! I ran around
my house like a crazy person with excitement and instantly called my family members.
