What one word describes how you felt when you hit submit on your entry?
I would say the one word that describes how I felt after I submitted my entry would be gratified. I was so grateful for how smooth the shoot! It was by far the most relaxed shoot I have worked on and I think that attributed to the amazing work we produced together.
What advice would you give to someone wanting to enter competitions?
My advice for someone who wants to enter completions would be to make sure that no matter what you stay true to your aesthetic. At the end of the day you need to love and be proud of the work you did. Always go with your gut feeling.
Beyond hair, what other creative outlets do you have?
Beyond hair my creative outlets include design and architecture. I’m super intrigued by other industries and often find my inspiration from other creatives and their creative process.

Authentic, Resilient, Relentless, Introspective, Unconventional
If you weren’t doing this, what would you be doing?
I would be most likely be in marketing. I’m an idea person and I love promoting other individual’s work.
What was your biggest F-up with a client?
I honestly can’t think of a major f-up, but I don’t doubt it has happened! I mean, don’t get me wrong- I’m sure I had my fair share of disasters early in my career!
Real life advice to someone entering the world of cosmetology.
My real life advice is simple and has never failed me in the world of cosmetology. It is always be your own brand. It’s not realistic to think you will be at one salon your whole life. Be authentic and true to yourself and your brand and success will find you.
